One an a half months ago “Plants and cakes” opened on Oederweg in Frankfurt, a take away bakery and juice bar. Owners Sibel and Angela serve raw, vegan and sugar-free treats at their small café, such as chia bowls, nicecream, juices, cupcakes and cakes.
I took pictures of the small shop – which has a few small tables and seats available inside as well as outside – for Hoppenworth & Ploch and am showing you some pictures here, too.
If you ask me: Frankfurt has been more than ready for a concept such as Plants and Cake’s! Not only are the raw, vegan and sugar-free meals as well as drinks completely up to date, but also the interior of the place could be found in a Berlin-or-so based coffeeshop, too! And, last but not least, there can never be enough cafés run by young, talented, hard-working and friendly females!
I tried a cappuccino (made with Oatly’s oat milk and beans by Hoppenworth & Ploch) as well as a peanut toffee, which tasted like heaven on earth.
