My lovely friend Olga and I met at Farm Girl Café for a long awaited reunion to start our tour with. Whenever I am in the area, I literally can’t pass by this pretty café without stopping for a coffee (they serve rose- and lavender-infused ones!) or a bite to eat: The homemade smoothies and avocado on toast are incredibly delicious, and so is the homemade granola!

We continued our tour towards the famous Portobello Market, which, to be quite honest, isn’t actually my favorite place to be on a Saturday, given that the streets are packed with way too many people (prepare yourself: you could possibly end up being hit by a selfie stick!). However, Portobello Road is home of a few very pretty houses, and it’s also the easiest way to access Gail’s Artisan Bakery, a lovely place for a slice of cake or to buy a fresh loaf of sourdough bread.

We coincidentally spotted a new shop on Portobello Market, Ragyard, which already has one branch in Shoreditch and has opened in Notting Hill two months ago. All clothes and accessories, which are sold in the store, are designed and made in London. I tried on a few things, and then quickly had to leave the place to stop myself from buying everything – what a beautiful place!

We then headed towards the very pretty St. Luke’s Mews – the place both Olga and I call our favourite in Notting Hill. The quietness here feels magical after the hustle and bustle on Portobello Road, and the houses are lovely! Making our way back towards Portobello Market, we had a quick glance at the pretty houses on Blenheim Crescent, to then make our way back towards Notting Hill Gate station, where we were invited to The Laslett Hotel for brunch. And, now, what a nice brunch we had there! The avocado on sourdough toast, seasoned with lime, chilli, red onions, salt and pepper, and poached eggs was just perfect, and so were the buckwheat pancakes with berries and maple syrup!

Find a little video of our tour below, and I would be very happy for you to follow me on Youtube since I started to really enjoy the whole filming and video editing! I promise there will be more videos coming soon – stay tuned!

Enjoy your weekend, lovely guys, and speak to you soon again!
